1. Material: Alumina ceramics, silicon carbide ceramics or zirconium oxide toughened alumina ceramics are usually used. These materials have extremely high hardness (second only to diamond and cubic boron nitride) and excellent wear resistance.

2. Wear resistance: This is the most prominent advantage of ceramic slurry pumps. Its wear resistance is usually 5 times or even 10 times higher than that of traditional wear-resistant metal materials such as high-chromium cast iron, which can significantly extend the service life under highly abrasive slurry conditions.
