A large sewage pump is usually selected for a pump room, wastewater station, or plant drainage line. The working condition must be checked before the model is confirmed. If the sewage level changes quickly, the start and stop control should be set to protect the motor from frequent overload.

Maintenance should focus on seal condition, bearing sound, casing bolts, and vibration.
