Preparation
Tool preparation
Puller, hydraulic wrench, copper rod, vernier caliper, torque wrench, heater (optional).
Consumables preparation
New bearings (make sure the model is the same as the original), grease, sealant, clean rags.
Auxiliary equipment preparation
Lifting equipment (large pumps need to be hoisted).
Remove the old bearing
Separate the pump body and the drive end
Remove the coupling or pulley and mark the centering position.
Loosen the pump body bolts and separate the back cover or bearing seat from the pump body.
Take out the rotor assembly
Remove the impeller end locking nut (pay attention to the thread direction, usually reverse thread).
Use a puller or press to push the impeller out of the shaft (if it is too tight, heat the impeller hub)
